Every case is different so determining the cost of defending a criminal case will depend on a number of different factors:
The nature and complexity of the case
The length of the case
Your legal objective(s)
Our initial meeting is always free as I will need to get a sense of the nature and complexity of the case and what your objective is, and I may want to review some of the disclosure in the matter
I will always quote a block fee – I never charge by the hour
The purpose of a block fee provides you with certainty as to the cost and assurance that you will not have to worry if your matter is prolonged due to no fault of our own
